4-POINT VEST WITH RELIEVING FOAM FlexPoint® allows for proper trunk positioning while sitting. It perfectly stabilizes the sternum without limiting shoulder movement. Stabilization of the sternum allows for an upright posture and reduces excessive flexion pattern. Consequently, it improves head control and facilitates swallowing and breathing.

4-POINT VEST WITH RELIEVING FOAM FlexPoint® allows for proper trunk positioning while sitting. It perfectly stabilizes the sternum without limiting shoulder movement. Stabilization of the sternum allows for an upright posture and reduces excessive flexion pattern. Consequently, it improves head control and facilitates swallowing and breathing. The vest has been designed to provide the user with the right balance between freedom of movement and full stabilization. It has an ergonomic design for increased comfort. On the inside, the SoftComfort™ material is used – it is specially constructed material to relieve pressure on very delicate and sensitive areas on the body. The fabric that the vest is made of, is very delicate and can come into contact even with very sensitive skin. It has an OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certification and complies with the European REACH standard. The fabric consists of very soft comfort foam laminated to a soft knit fabric. It has perforations to facilitate airflow and allow the skin to breathe. The outer layer of the vest is made of waterproof CODURA® material. It is a highly abrasion-resistant fabric made of polyamide with a Teflon-coated polyurethane outer coating.
It is highly resistant to various weather conditions and is very lightweight due to its internal structure. Rigid yet comfortable design of the vest, provides a high level of stability. What’s more, the 4-POINT VEST WITH RELIEVING FOAM FlexPoint® has seamless buckles that are resistant to tearing. Such a solution makes the FP-09 vest one of the strongest stabilizing products of its kind on the market, and is highly recommended for people with a strong flexion pattern in the trunk, as well as users with a high risk of uncontrolled movements. The material of the vest is extremely durable, but also soft and skin-friendly. It does not cause pressure or discomfort to the patient. The contact surface of the vest with the body is greater than in the case of other standard solutions, which guarantees better stabilization and improves comfort.

ATTENTION! for safety reasons chest support with zipper should be used only by people without mental illness.

 

uwaga  For safety reasons, it is recommended to use the 4-POINT VEST WITH RELIEVING FOAM FlexPoint® together with a pelvic belt or thigh abduction belts.
uwaga Before using the chest support, it is essential to familiarize yourself with the safety rules referred in the instructions of use. For information on how to use chest support safety, see pages 8-9. Improper use and failure to comply with safety rules may endanger the user’s life and cause a serious detriment to the health of a person.

 

ATTENTION! Whenever a chest support, harness or other trunk support is used, a properly adjusted pelvic support should also be worn to prevent sliding from chair/wheelchair.

Choose the suitable type of the vest adjustment when ordering.

Each chest support is available with a front-pull (user side) or rear-pull (caregiver side) adjustment.

Mounting triangle
Used for installation of straps in belts and vests on strollers and wheelchairs.
