Many muscles are responsible for creating the abdominal pressure such as rectus abdominis, transverse abdominis, internal and external abdominal oblique and diaphragm. When these muscles are tensed and “active”, your core is protected. It prevents against spinal conditions (herniated disc or spondylosis).

On the back of the back brace AM-SO-09 there are lightweight, low-profiled aluminum splints and lumbar pad which can be shaped easily according to the medical recommendations. Lumbar pad, made of lightweight ABS, offers professional and comfortable reducing the spinal pressure.

MaxComfort II™

MaxComfort II™ is a new generation multi-layer material with excellent relieving function. The use of a product made of MaxComfort II™ means excellent stabilization and very high comfort of use. From the side of the body there is a soft, skin-friendly fabric with OekoTex Standard 100 approval, which has perforations that facilitate air flow and ensure skin ventilation. The next layer is soft foam, which ensures the comfort of using the orthosis, eliminates irregularity between the orthosis and the body, increases the contact surface of the orthosis with the patient's skin, which reduces local pressure on the body and has an anti-bedsore effect. The next layer is neoprene foam, which task is to relieve the structural elements of the orthosis from the patient's body. The last layer is a strong knitted fabric, the structure of which guarantees high durability and wear resistance.

SoftComfort™

SoftComfort™ - a material specially designed to relieve very delicate places on the patient's body. The cover knit used in the production is made in such a way that it can come into contact with very sensitive skin. This raw material has the Oeko-Tex Standard 100 certificate and complies with the European REACH standard. The structure of the material consists of a very soft comfort foam laminated with a delicate cover knit. The fabric has a perforation that facilitates the flow of air through the material and allows the skin to breathe. The SoftComfort™ material is perfect for the production of linings relieving the rigid and inflexible elements of orthopedic orthoses.

STIFFENINGS

Abdominal pad

The abdominal pad of the orthopedic spine brace is made of ABS. It has an anatomical shape with rounded edges and special longitudinal cuts, thanks to which it is very easy to shape in the horizontal axis and maintains high stiffness in the vertical axis. Such a structure allows the orthosis to easily adjust to the abdominal section of the patient and, thanks to the vertical cuts, the patient's skin breathes as air is supplied to it.

Lumbar supports

Low and high lumbar supports are made of polyethylene injection technology. The supports are embossed in the shape of the vertebrae of the spine, thanks to which it does not press on the spine, but relieves the back muscles. The product is equipped with the manufacturer's logo and a path for the seam. They stiffen the lumbar or thoracolumbar spine, relieve the muscle and stabilize the compression bands of the braces.

Orthopedic profiled stays

Orthopedic stays are made of special spring steel, covered with a plastic coating and have rounded and protected ends. They can come in various widths and thicknesses as well as different hardness. They can be pre-shaped or flat. They work in one direction and adapt to the shape of the body while stabilizing the laterally protected part of the body. They are perfectly protected against corrosion, so they are resistant to water, moisture and sweat. Products equipped with them can be washed without removing them from the orthosis. They adjust to the body. The orthopedic stays cannot bend and that is why, they cannot correct the body posture or the secured joint.

Orthopedic stays from ABS

Orthopedic stays available in various width, thickness and shapes are cut from ABS boards. Their role is not to stiffen the orthosis in order to support a joint or other part of the body, but to prevent wrinkling and uncontrolled movement of the fabrics of the orthosis./p>
