FOOT DROP<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n

Foot drop is a gait disorder characterized by difficulty or inability to lift the front part of the foot (dorsiflexion). This leads to a distinctive walking pattern in which the patient often raises the knee high (\u201csteppage gait\u201d) to avoid dragging the toes on the ground. The direct causes may include peroneal nerve damage, neurological conditions (stroke, multiple sclerosis, ALS, neuropathies, muscular dystrophies), spinal cord injuries, or post-traumatic injuries. The AM-OSS-18 dynamic orthosis<\/b><\/strong> is designed to effectively correct steppage gait and prevent toe-walking.<\/p>\n

Slightly elastic spiral straps stabilize the medical device on the limb and, working with each user\u2019s movement, adapt compression to muscle activity, calf tension, body weight, and walking speed.<\/p>\n
