Shoulder injuries involve 10% of all sport injuries. Repetitive, throwing motions (keeping the arm above the head) and direct hit by other athlete are the main reasons of shoulder injuries. The rotator cuff provides shoulder stability. It includes muscles such as the supraspinatus muscle, the infraspinatus muscle, the teres minor muscle and the subscapularis muscle. It keeps the humeral head in the socket and supports the upper extremity in daily activities such as writing or cleaning the windows. When the humeral head is going up or down, the joint doesn\u2019t work smooth and it limits the range of motion. Also, direct blow of the shoulder by the other athlete may result in shoulder dislocation.<\/p>\n
