Skin-friendlyAM-WSP-10 – TLSO BACK BRACE WITH DECOMPRESSION PLATE AND LUMBAR SUPPORT BELT
Description
THORACOLUMBAR SYNDROME
Thoracolumbar junction pain syndrome affects the area between the thoracic and lumbar spine (Th12–L1). It is characterized by back pain that worsens during movement, sitting, or physical overload. The condition may result from overuse, injuries, or degenerative changes.
Conservative treatment often includes the use of the AM-WSP-10 TLSO spinal brace, which stabilizes the spine, limits painful movements, and relieves stress on spinal structures. Therapy is complemented by physiotherapy as well as pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory treatment.
Product description
The advanced AM-WSP-10 lumbar-sacral brace (LSO) is a next-generation medical device that combines rigid stabilization with the ability to maintain active movement. It is designed based on modern dynamic brace solutions, providing effective spinal support without limiting daily activity.

The back brace consists of an LSO back plate made of lightweight plastic and a torso belt.
The rigid posterior plate is equipped with a CCA BOA® compression system, allowing quick one-hand adjustment and precise adaptation to the user’s lumbar lordosis. This effectively stabilizes and unloads the lumbar spine, both in cases of hyperlordosis and flattened lordosis.

The torso belt is made of breathable ActiveSpace™ 3D fabric, ensuring proper ventilation and high wearing comfort.
A front pocket for an abdominal pad provides additional support and enhances stabilization efficiency. Additionally, the back brace is equipped with a TapeLacing compression system, which allows precise adjustment of compression, stabilizes the spine through circumferential compression and unloads spinal structures by transferring part of the forces to the anterior abdominal wall.
Unlike traditional, heavy corsets, the AM-WSP-10 back brace allows controlled movement and physical activity, making it suitable for use at work, while walking, or during daily activities.
A spinal brace AM-WSP-10 with a plastic support pad used in thoracolumbar syndrome provides enhanced stabilization of the Th12–L1 spinal segment and limits excessive movements that cause pain. The anatomically shaped rigid pad helps maintain proper body posture, relieves overloaded muscular and ligamentous structures, and reduces tension in the thoracolumbar junction area.
Thanks to its anatomical fit, the brace supports the spine during daily activities by limiting micromovements that may worsen pain. Additionally, compression and stabilization improve patient comfort and support the conservative treatment and rehabilitation process.
The AM-WSP-10 TLSO back brace can be used both in conservative treatment and during rehabilitation, supporting a safe return to daily activities.
Purpose of use:
- pain syndromes of the thoracolumbar and lumbosacral spine
- discopathy and intervertebral disc herniation in the thoracolumbar and lumbar spine
- degenerative spinal conditions (spondylosis)
- spinal segment instability requiring TLSO stabilization
- spondylolisthesis
- overload, post-traumatic conditions, and vertebral compression fractures
- postural defects, hyperkyphosis, hyperlordosis, or flattened lumbar lordosis
- spinal canal stenosis
- conservative treatment of thoracolumbar junction syndrome
- postoperative conditions requiring thoracolumbosacral stabilization
- prevention of spinal overload during physical work and sports activities

MATERIALS
ActiveSpace™
ActiveSpace™ is a spacer, polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is very lightweight, consisted of 2 layers. Between them, we use polyamide braids. ActiveSpace™ is not elastic what improves stabilization. Inside the lamination, between 2 layers, the air flows freely, maintaining minimal water and moisture absorption. Waterproof material.

TECHNOLOGICAL SYSTEMS
BOA® Fit System
DIAL IN TO FAST, EFFORTLESS, PRECISION FIT.
Delivering fit solutions purpose-built for performance, the BOA® Fit System is integrated in products across snow sports, cycling, hiking/trekking, golf, running, court sports, workwear, and medical bracing. The BOA® Fit System is engineered with high quality, durable materials that are rigorously field-tested for a micro-adjustable connection that’s built to perform. Each unique configuration is engineered for power without compromising precision in order to deliver a seamless connection between equipment and body. BOA®’s dial and laces are guaranteed for the lifetime of the product on which they are integrated.
CCA Compression System
Dial CCA Compression System was designed to use it in the snowboard shoes, because ordinary shoelace was too weak in extreme using. Typical shoestring sprang and snowboard shoes wasn’t casing construction what could allow using the steel fastening.
Steel wire and polyamide grommets allow to use steel fastening. Later, this system was used in other sport shoes such as: professional shoes for cycling or running.
In orthopaedic field the compression system was adapted early and it’s used in e.g. ankle, wrist or back braces. The system is characterized by firm fastening that is non-elastic, easy and secure. There is impossible to loose (only in case of damage) it what guarantees the best stabilization.
Our CCA System provides different levels of compression. It’s based on differential polyamide grommets , steel wires covered by plastic and knobs. The additional equipment is the special element that is easy to attach what allows to modify device’s shape or circumference.
The CCA System is the compression solution so you can use it only after putting the brace on the body.
TLS - TapeLacing Compression System
TapeLacing Compression System was created to adjust the best joint support and stabilization. The system allows to adjust different levels of compression according to patient’s needs. This adjustment is smooth what provides comfort of use the brace.
The TLS System is a combination of metal grommets, nylon tapes and Velcros. The additional equipment is the special element that is easy to attach what allows to modify device’s shape or circumference. You can achieve required compression with a single pull strap. One easy pull securely forms the brace to the patient’s torso and provides intra-abdominal compression, reducing the load on intervertebral discs.
TLS System is the compression solution so you can use it only after putting the brace on the body.
ATTENTION: Our TapeLacing Compression System is very effective with big interaction strength so it’s necessary to use it with caution.
