Descryption


Endoprosthesis is often result of degenerative disease that based on destruction of joint cartilage, joint capsule and other soft tissues. There are bone spurs, called osteophytes, one the femur head and acetabulum surface. Osteophytes usually limit joint movement and typically cause pain.

Hip joint is ball joint where head femur is inside the acetabulum. Reason of the joint degeneration can be improper building (hip dysplasia), growth disturbances or injuries. It can be also caused by metabolic disorders such as osteoporosis or overweight.

Our AM-SB-01 hip brace with side splint is a crucial element while rehabilitation process after joint replacement.

The side splint supports joint against the undesirable motions such as: excessive hip adduction, flexion or rotation, which can cause loosen and shift of the endoprosthesis. It is equipped with range of motion adjustment what is helpful after hip surgeries.

Our hip brace is used after surgery which limits the risk of the endoprosthesis damage.

ActiveDistance™

ActiveDistance™ is an technical off-loading lamination with 3-layered construction. It’s made of EVA foam double-sided laminated with non-elastic polyamide layer that is easy to attach. This self-gripping function of ActiveDistance™ provides wide range of adjustment and perfect fitting. What is important, ActiveDistance™ is non-elastic fabric so it stabilizes your body in a perfect way. Thanks to using the comfort foam, the device is really soft what influences on the comfort of using it. Waterproof material.

ActivePren™

ActivePren™ is an active three-layer material consisting of two elastic jersey cover fabrics and a core made of neoprene foam. This material is characterized by softness and high flexibility. A very important advantage of this material is the fact that it is not a knitted product, it does not have thick fibers, so that the weaves of the material do not imprint on the patient's skin and do not cause abrasionsin places of high compression. Products made of ActivePren are the strongest and most effective stabilizing orthoses available on the market.

CCA Compression System

Dial CCA Compression System was designed to use it in the snowboard shoes, because ordinary shoelace was too weak in extreme using. Typical shoestring sprang and snowboard shoes wasn’t casing construction what could allow using the steel fastening.

Steel wire and polyamide grommets allow to use steel fastening. Later, this system was used in other sport shoes such as: professional shoes for cycling or running.

In orthopaedic field the compression system was adapted early and it’s used in e.g. ankle, wrist or back braces. The system is characterized by firm fastening that is non-elastic, easy and secure. There is impossible to loose (only in case of damage) it what guarantees the best stabilization.

Our CCA System provides different levels of compression. It’s based on differential polyamide grommets , steel wires covered by plastic and knobs. The additional equipment is the special element that is easy to attach what allows to modify device’s shape or circumference.

The CCA System is the compression solution so you can use it only after putting the brace on the body.

STIFFENINGS

Hip supports

Hip supports are made of ABS material. Their purpose is to effectively relieve the compression straps in the pelvic brace. Thanks to them, the high impact force of the belts on the patient's body is distributed over a much larger area, so that the local pressure on the body is much smaller. The pads have special cutouts and guides for the compression belts. On one of the orthoses, there is also a cut-out which is the base for the toothed belt.

Splint Joint Flex Control

JOINT FLEX CONTROL hinge is made of low profile, thin aluminum. It is universal orthopaedic product. It is perfect solution in case of hip injuries and after hip replacement and other surgeries. The hinge offers smooth hip flexion and extension adjustment and controls hip abduction and adduction in range between 0 to 25 degrees. It allows to adjust the brace according to doctor's requirements.

The splint is made of firm, durable aluminum and is safe in case of hip injury or surgery. The drop lock is adjusted with simple hex key and offers range of motion adjustment in: 0, 20, 45, 70, 90, 110 and 125 degrees. The JOINT FLEX CONTROL splint offers adduction and abduction control between 0 and 25 degrees. The splint is characterized by high-precision hip ROM control.

Range of motion adjustment may be performed only with hex key to avoid involuntary angle changing. The abduction/adduction hinge is made of durable ABS with carbon fibre.
