A finger fracture occurs when one or more phalanges break. People often break their fingers due to injury or weakened bones.
Small bones called phalanges make up your finger structure. Each finger contains three phalanges, while the thumb contains two. Any of them can break.

The pain can be relieved from a finger fracture for a short time with ice and medication. But, the consultation with a healthcare provider as soon as possible for an X-ray will be essential. Depending on the type and severity of the fracture, doctor may suggest a splint to stabilize the finger or surgery to repair the break. In both cases, the AM-SP-06 immobilising orthopaedic splint is recommended.

The AM-SP-06 orthopaedic finger splint is a professional brace that stabilizes the proximal interphalangeal (PIP) and distal interphalangeal (DIP) joints of fingers II-V and the interphalangeal joint of the thumb.
The product is made entirely of friendly and breathable UniPren™. The material has a slight one-sided elasticity, thus providing therapeutic compression to reduce swelling and improve circulation.
The AM-SP-06 finger immobilizer is equipped with a lightweight aluminum splint, which can be freely retrained according to therapeutic recommendations and can be used to limit toe extension or flexion if necessary.
It is a universal spint that can be used on both the right and left hand, as well as on the dorsal and palmar sides of the finger.
The AM-SP-06 finger brace has two comfortable circumferential straps fastened with Velcro, which can be freely adjusted to the circumference of the finger. In this way, the splint can be used both in the acute period, when there is swelling of the finger, and in the chronic period, as well as for prophylactic protection of the phalanges against re-fracture, dislocation or sprain.
