Shoulder Subluxation

A shoulder subluxation is an injury in which there is an incomplete dislocation of the shoulder joint. In this case, the joint surfaces are in contact with each other, but the mobility of the joint is severely restricted. It is a common injury that occurs in both athletes and non-athletes. Shoulder subluxation can occur for a number of reasons. The most common include many years of incorrect scapular position (e.g. due to poor posture) or injury (strong jerking of the upper limb) and stretched coracohumeral ligaments usually due to incorrect exercise technique or accidents. Many hours of sitting and contraction of the chest muscles also promote subluxation of the shoulder joint. When an injury occurs, the joint capsule and ligaments are overstretched and their fibres are often torn. The injury results in severe shoulder pain, severe swelling, exudate, and restricted joint mobility.

The MASTER-04 shoulder brace is an excellent product that aims to stabilize the shoulder joint in a therapeutic abduction.
After a shoulder injury or surgery, correct positioning of the weakened arm and shoulder is crucial to ensure protection and healing. Our MASTER-04 brace helps to reduce po-op mobility, preventing further shoulder injury.
The shoulder sling consists of a shoulder element, a shoulder brace and a special abduction cushion.
The shoulder part and the arm brace are made from the innovative AirDistance™ breathable material.
The MASTER-04 shoulder brace is equipped with special stabilizing straps covered with antimigration tape, thanks to which the sling remains in place, even in the case of increased physical activity of the user.
The specialized cushion provides a shoulder joint abduction of up to 15 degrees. This is the most optimal positioning of the shoulder in case of damage to its soft tissues, such as the joint capsule or ligaments, allowing them to fully recover.
The shoulder abduction cushion is made of two innovative materials. The first, which is in contact with the user’s skin, is cotton CottonMix™.
The second material is the technological, moisture-wicking ActiveSpace™.
The shoulder abduction cushion is equipped with a special zipped cover, which can be easily removed for washing.
To ensure the most comfortable fit, the MASTER-04 abduction shoulder brace is fully adjustable and can be used interchangeably on the right or left arm.

ActiveSpace™

ActiveSpace™ is a spacer, polyamide 3D lamination with high skin ventilation. It is very lightweight, consisted of 2 layers. Between them, we use polyamide braids. ActiveSpace™ is not elastic what improves stabilization. Inside the lamination, between 2 layers, the air flows freely, maintaining minimal water and moisture absorption. Waterproof material.

AirDistance™

AirDistance™ is an airy 3-layer fabric that consists of perforated comfort foam and 2 durable non-elastic polyamide layers allowing air and water to migrate. This construction makes the skin dry all the time. In addition, the fresh air comes to the skin from outside. AirDistance™ is easy to attach from 2 sides, which allows to fit our braces precisely.

CottonMix™

CottonMix™ is an orthopedic, slightly elastic cotton used in our ecological cotton devices. This material is available in different colors and basis weights. All of types of CottonMix™ has Oeko-Tex Standard 100, what means that it is neural for skin.
